Take a look at this textured sterling silver necklace. It is 20″ long, but can be worn at different lengths, depending on where you fasten it. It has large jumprings, connected (soldered) with small jumprings, and finished with sterling oval jumpring chain. This makes a bold statement because of the size of the large rings, which are 1.5″ in diameter, and hammered for an interesting texture. While this is an eye-catching necklace, it will go with just about any style or outfit, which makes it very versatile. It is reasonably priced, which makes it a nice gift as well, with the holidays coming up. Check out my website at www.dichroicglassbygail.com to see all my work.

A Fabulous Patina/ Finish And A Multi-Dimensional Piece
Take a look at this incredible patina/ finish on this copper pendant. It has been hammered for texture. It has been annealed for strength and annealed again and then quenched in cold water to get this russet-red patina. Finally, it has been polished with rouge to get this shine.
This pendant has 2 layers. The bottom layer has been kiln-fired with blue-green enamel, which is complimented by the red patina of the top layer. The 2 layers have been cold-connected by rivets in all 4 corners. The clasp has been wrapped with sterling wire, which has been hammered for texture. The final step here is attaching the handforged, hammered, sterling wire neckband. This piece is truly multi- dimensional. Check out my other creations at my website www.dichroicglassbygail.com.
